Members of FOSP currently number over 30 and come from a wide cross- section of the business community. The aim of FOSP is to target representatives from the business sector who are looking to support a smaller charity in financial and/or in-kind ways Anyone wishing to find out more about this initiative are welcome to contact Terry Peirce on: 07990582687. Charity Evaluation

This much – needed area of work has commenced in earnest and we are currently examining the following: governance, finances/transactions/reporting, efficacy of our interventions from a GP perspective, communication, staffing, volunteering, data base/information extraction. web development, updating and upgrading of computer systems. This requirement of our main funders Big Lottery is most welcome and gives us the opportunity to abandon anything that is no longer fit for purpose getting the charity into the shape it will need to be in if we are going to be around and fully operational post current funding term.

Big Lottery (BL) – Case Study

The charity has been selected by Big Lottery to undergo an examination of its operations in relation to those areas of its work that is funded by BL. This case study has come about due to the high regard BL has for our work with victims and survivors of child abuse, trauma and recovery and their wish to spread the example of what has been achieved by us with funding from this source. This really is an enormous honour for the charity and stands us in good stead should future funding from BL become available at the end of the current four-year term. It is also a great advert and tremendous lever for attracting other prospective funders.
